Oliver Brothers, Inc's Geographic Information Service
(GIS) takes all of the available information on your golf
course and combines it with the most recent aerial imagery
to prepare an extensive encycopedia of your property. Learn
how GPS,
GIS & Remote Sensing can help facilitate golf course
management.
|
| |
| We
start with a basic package by providing aerial imagery of your
course on a 2' X 3' wall poster as well as 2- 11" X 17"
laminated
worksheets. The worksheets are laminated to provide a durable
surface that can be marked using wet, eraseable markers. View

Course Demo Book. |

Additionally, we offer the following services to supplement
your aerial imagery:
|
- GPS boundaries for all parts of your property (not only
the different areas of your holes, but cart pats, landscape
features, and much more).
- GPS (Lat/Long) position of all sprinkler heads including
any pertinent data relating to your control systems (Cirrus).
|
| We
have the capability to provide topographical maps of your greens
with centimeter accuracy. Furthermore, we can take any GPS information
that you already have or that we develop and overlay them on
your aerial imagery for easier presentation of your data. |
| |
| We
are also accredited by the Irrigation Association to provide
irrigation audits and reproduce the findings on your imagery
for easier assessment of your irrigation issues, including GPS
points marking the throw
arcs of each sprinkler. |
| |
| Starting
in February 2006, Oliver Brothers, Inc will join forces
with C.R.
Dixon & Associates to provide a Remote Sensing service
for golf courses. Oliver Brothers, Inc has spent the
past year developing a process to give you a handle on your
turf's health. We call it The Sweep (pat.
pending)! |
